Smoky Mountains National Park Gatlinburg, Tennessee
Last summer, we went to Gatlinburg, TN for vacation.
Both Ginger and Pooch went along.

We stayed in a wonderful large cabin right outside the park in
a wooded area:

This was on the Gatlingburg trail, the only trail in the national park
which allows dogs. This photo is in the Dog Scouts of America (
DSA
) 2004 calendar!

We went on a nature drive through the national park. We saw many
deer and turkeys, and two bears!
The dogs went along as well. Ginger loved watching
the deer and turkeys, especially the deer in the photo on the left, which
was only a few feet from our car.
On the way home we stopped at Mammoth Cave National Park, where we went
on a short cave tour and the dogs went on a hike. Those photos will be here
as soon as I can get them scanned.
