ChiRescue is a private Chicago-based no-kill animal rescue referral group. We help find homes for stray dogs and other animals. We also try to help people find new homes for pets they can't keep. Other services:  

We are  looking for people willing to "foster" animals while we search for new homes, as we currently have no resources to "foster" animals- we are currently only able to do referrals.

~ Pet match-up : If you are looking for a dog (or cat) to adopt, and know what you're looking for, we'd be glad to help you find your perfect match. We look for animals who are at local shelters and other rescues. Just email   ChiRescues@aol.com describing as thouroughly as possible the kind of dog/cat you're looking for, and we'll send you a list of possible matches.
~Dog Breed Information : We have noticed that many people want a certain breed of dog, but don't know much about the breed. If you are interested in a certain breed, and would like to know more about the breed, email  ChiRescue give you information and web sites concerning the breed, or refer you to some who can give you info.
